# Network switch

A network switch in cryptocurrency refers to the process of moving a cryptocurrency from one blockchain network to another. This can occur for a variety of reasons, such as to take advantage of new features or improvements on the new network, to address security vulnerabilities or scalability issues on the old network, or to migrate to a new network due to a change in the underlying technology or governance structure.

In order to switch network, you will need to follow a few steps.
